She suffered from Alzheimer’s for nineteen years.

These cartoons are an effort to look on the bright side of a difficult situation remembering strange behaviors taken aside may be humorous.

As Alzheimer's progresses the victim does strange and different things. Like driving around looking for their bedroom. Or look always for the key to a lock. Here kitty has a phone call, and the Mrs._____ never liked cats!

Hiding Tissues

I do not want to be without a tissue, I think I will save it here under my pillow.

Some other funny ideas:

Puts milk in every bottle

Locked things drive her nuts because she cannot find the key

Afraid to fall so did not bathe

Did not bathe because did not want to stand in rain.

Drive around so he could find his bedroom.

They let her wander, pilfer and roam as much as she wanted.

She would fall asleep in the waiting room.

You kids must have been bad because her nerves are shot.

You've lost weight since the last time I saw you.

You want some birthday cake? "You can stick that cake where the sun doesn't shine."

Patient says, I'm pregnant. I'm going to name her after my mother."

Chopped down her favorite camilia.
